Abstract

The development of science and technology that is increasingly sophisticated and out of control has made people living in the present day more critical in thinking and acting, especially in contemporary issues that are troubling society. The war between Russia and Ukraine is a contemporary issue that is no stranger to being discussed by Indonesian people who live in the present. The war between Russia and Ukraine had a huge impact on the global market, in its role for the global market these two countries have a very important role, namely Russia is the world's third largest oil exporter and Ukraine is the world's largest corn exporter, these two countries are exporter of their resources, to Southeast Asian countries, one of which is Indonesia. The war between Russia and Ukraine resulted in an increase in world oil prices and caused countries in the world to experience economic inequality. This article will discuss the Russian and Ukrainian wars as well as the wars of Assyria and Judah based on Nahum 1:9-15 and their reflections for today's readers.
