EKOTEOLOGI SEBAGAI PEMBEBASAN GEREJA MASA KINI DARI PAHAM ANTROPOSENTRISME

Abstract

The environmental crisis "ecology" is a world phenomenon that is seen as a form of damage to human relations with nature. Theology is present in ecology, in order to provide a contribution link for how humans view God's word as a command and even responsibility given by God since the beginning of human creation; to protect and maintain nature. It is called ecotheology, so that this science provides awareness to humans to keep in touch with other creations of God. So that there is an order of justice between creations and not a denominating or anthropocentric attitude. So that from this, the church also plays an important role in channeling and changing the paradigm of how humans view nature. This study also provides an intense contribution to the church today, about how the church implements ecotheology in the congregation. So that the congregation can be sensitized and actively involved in the environmental crisis, seen from the perspective of theology itself. Therefore, the church mission needs to play an active role both theoretically and praxis in the development of ecotheology for the congregation. As for this writing, researchers use literature review as a relevant scalpel for the main themes raised.
