Abstract

This article aims to explore the liturgical elements of the celebration of Christmas in Christianity based on history. How the Christian faith responds to this, because the celebration of Christmas is a hallmark of Christianity. The celebration of Christmas is the biggest celebration held in Christianity precisely on December 25th. The concept of Christians in celebrating this is because of the revelation of God in Christ according to His plan of salvation to humans, so Christians celebrate this as a form of joy of faith. The method used by the author in this article is a qualitative method of literature study approach, because in the research process it is reviewed based on books, journals, magazines, and literature studies. With this research, the author hopes that this article can contribute and the need for readers in understanding the Christmas celebration carried out based on Liturgical elements.
